No Yoga class is complete without a Namaste' being uttered in reverence, with 

• hands in prayer position, 

• and a slight bow towards the object of our attention.

Deification

Reverential attention, or deification, creates a deep neuropsychological process within, and is the mystical seed of the conscious Being that could come into being within the psyche.

So be careful what you worship.

In Sanskrit :

• Nāma (naama) literally means the English word Name, 

• the sibilant 's' is the filler sound,

• Te' means to you.

Body & Spirit

Thus anyone who says Nāma-s-te' worships the named outer form - no wonder the fixation on beautiful bodies in modern Yoga studios.

However, by pronouncing it correctly as 

• Nama it indicates the inner spirit, not the outer form,

so by uttering Namaste' to someone we are reminding them of their divine inner consciousness, to inspire them on the path of evolution, the beautiful body indeed necessary, but integrated with a charged up spirit.

Spiritualized approach

Spiritualization means actively search for, or even inducing, a spirit, into all of life so that it has a higher evolutionary purpose, beyond just existing.

This makes it is easier to : 

• go beyond the individual form that is presented,

• and look at the spirit within the other, 

• and how it interacts with ours.

This is essentially why the Yoga Namaste'.

Further, in the initial stages, it's not just one spirit that each possesses, in fact it is a multiplicity of them, and there is a particular process described in Patanjali, and then eventually all spirits collapse into the one single spirit - when the whole of it becomes duh obvious.

Not Spirituality

Spiritual-ity, where the -ity makes it an ideology like in Christian-ity, or for that matter any -ism, wherein the spirit behind the original idea is fossilized to conform to a particular thought at a particular point in time.

A fossilized spirit is of course an oxymoron, because spirit can never be dead, as we consider it the source of life itself - a kind of life that has a certain kind of evolutionary purpose.

So in this site we are changing all such nomenclature right now.
