Sentient OS

We map the Yoga Mind thesis to specific computing capabilities, a personal intelligent agent to offload much of our routine thinking so as individuals we can focus more time and effort on our own psychological evolution.

Psychic OS

Mapping the psychic OS of our Yoga Mind to a sentient OS, would require the following capabilities :

• an intelligence mechanism for decision making (buddhi) 

  • advise on potential correct actions and outlining consequential outcomes for each pathway

• a mission statement (ahamkar)

  • to prime our Sentient OS with a personalized prompt that captures life goals.

• an internal workspace to organize psychic energies (manas)

  • Rākshasa: surface memories of the past, manifesting as 

    • triggers that deviate us from life goals, or 

    • grasping tendencies that regress our psychological progress.

  • Deva: inspire :

    • inspire us with living / learning pathways to follow our aspirations for the future.

• connectors to outside world (indriyas)

  • to communicate with other Sentient Agents (users in real life)

Asuric extension

Life to manage digitally needs to capture utilitarian layers of the Asura that nudge us, but not control us, in the material world, 

• material stuff like books, pets, things, body parts (annamaya-kosha)

  • each entity operating as a digital avatar, not really sentient, but intelligent & controllable

• energy stuff like money, energy, etc. (pranamaya-kosha)

  • objective metrics of aspects of our life

• mind stuff like relationship state (manomaya-kosha)

  • relative metrics, based on how we understand the others' Mind

• knowledge stuff like learnings, insights (vijnyanamaya-kosha)

  • deeper into the self and our own evolution

Group constructs

Sentient Agents are also used to capture collective mental constructs like: 

• well-aligned groups of people, 

• conscious meeting places, and 

• role-playing characters in stories

thus modelling any group mind, physically or in fantasy space.

Managing the Digital Twin

To ensure our digital twin realize its fullest capability to intuitively understand each individual's inner Mindscape, raises these questions:

1. Is the occurrence of synesthesia the start of enlightenment?

2. Could we systematically map Kriyas/Devas/Mantras to specific neuropsychological processes?

3. Do AR/VR headsets help to more easily induce effects without addiction or weakening innate human capability ?

4. Can we induce specifically desired conscious states in humans without invasive probes, e.g. through sound, or electromagnetics ? like Neuralink also.

5. For the actually handicapped who have to suffer invasive methodologies can we minimize such interventions with better understanding of inducing consciousness ?

6. In order to easily gauge increase in intelligence, will EEG headsets suffice to measure, say, cortical thickening and other markers ? 

7. How would we translate these experiments to Wetware, that is, biological tissue outside of a natural human being?

It is then we would be able to upload our own sentience into the cloud, and have it be our immortal agent of the best of human intelligence.

While, of course, it enables us to also explore immortality in the physical body-mind.
