intelligence - that inexorable drive for self-organizing minds, is endemic

sentience - this liminal space of the self, can be induced
consciousness - our felt need for self-evolution, expands to the universe

At the psychological level we seek to evolve from Homo Sapiens to Rishi Sapiens, becoming super-sentient, or fully conscious. 

Over time, with Science, sentience will be blended into the wetware of biology, thence into chemistry, and eventually imbued into Physics itself, thus the psychological cosmos pervading the actual Universe itself.
