Academicians who are insiders to the culture have contrived the name 'Indic' to denote the essence of the Indian civilization which, although etymologically accurate, is a term hardly understood by anyone in the public domain.

Internal Security, i.e. law & order
Efficient dispute resolution, i.e. judiciary & courts
Property protection, i.e. now also including intellectual
Punishing the "wicked"
Rewarding the "virtuous"
All other matters are meant to be executed through local communities, maybe in public-private partnerships to achieve scale.
